What is the lead time?
Quick ship and in stock items have a lead time of 2-4 weeks.
All Custom orders are 10-16 weeks. Lead times starts with our email confirmation of receipt of your
50% non-refundable deposit, less shipping, and all pertinent information including the ship to address.
Shipping charges will be quoted as an estimate until your package is crated and a full weight can be determined.
We will call you to discuss an approximate ship date that is mutually agreeable.
Shipping charges and balance of payment will be invoiced just prior to shipping. We will notify you by email of the actual
ship date with the tracking number.
How do I place an order?
We accept checks only. Upon receipt of your check we will issue a written confirmation on Metal Venture letterhead.
stating what you have purchased and any pertinent information regarding shipping.
You will also receive an email confirmation of the order.
How are items shipped?
When size permits items are shipped via UPS or FedX. Larger items are shipped
by freight carrier. Please indicate if your item is to be delivered to a business or residence.
If there is a loading dock available, or if it is to a construction site and any other information
you may feel we should know.
What to do when you receive your order.
Please inspect the packaging for any signs of external damage. Open the package carefully and keep
all packing materials including the box and or crate until you inspect the item to find it has arrived in good condition.
What do I do if my piece arrives damaged?
All items are packed with extreme care.
Nonetheless things can get damaged in transit. If this should happen, please call us immediately
and we will advise you as to what next to do. Typically, we will ask you to photograph the damage and
email the images to us so that we can show the shipper the physical evidence. Any claims of damage
must be reported within 5 days of receipt of order.
Do you have a warranty?
We want our clients to be completely satisfied. We consider each request
individually and will look to find the best way to satisfy the situation. Metal Venture cannot be responsible for
problems related to site delivery conditions, weather, improper installation, unauthorized repairs or
modifications, and normal wear and tear. All items are considered for dry locations, indoor use only.
All items are made by hand, variations will occur from piece to piece, these are not considered defects
and will not be eligible for refunds.
How do I care for my piece?
To remove dust, gently wipe down with a slightly damp cloth.
To bring up luster and remove any fingerprints use a light application of a furniture polish buffed
with a dry non abrasive cloth.
Can I Cancel or return my purchase?
Custom and special order work cannot be returned.
No items can be returned without prior authorization by Metal Venture. Any item returned without authorization
will be refused or returned to you at your own expense. All items must be returned in their original packaging
well packed and insured. When we receive the damaged item we will determine if it can be repaired or
needs to be replaced. We will notify you as soon as possible with an approximate time frame for a new delivery.
Shipping and return shipping charges are non refundable. Any Item that is available as quick ship or in stock
will be considered on a case by case basis and may require a restocking fee of 20%.
On rare occasion a client may need to cancel their order. If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so in writing
via email to martinrothenberg@metalventure.com. A full refund, less 10%, will only be allowed up to 48 hrs. from the time
we acknowledge receipt of your original order.
